Hello

I am looking to protect a Port Harbor and need to see about 1000m at night.

I was looking at the GVS1000 because its made by Bosch (Extreme CCTV) but it only does 1km distance which is a bit short as I am hoping to get at least 2km, of night vision.

The GVS1000 uses active IR but I am not sure if thermal would be better.

Is there a better solution out there or is the GVS1000 the only camera that can see these ranges at night.

If there are better solutions out there please post information and links

Wow thanks William, Ascendent makes some amazing products they are going to custom build me a solution with active IR and thermal, thanks for giving me exactly what I needed.

Sincerely

Hey Im going to hang some paper lanterns from my ceiling in my bedroom, but I dont want to put candles in them for safety reasons. I was just wondering what else i could put in them? I dont want to use LED lights that need a wall power supply, do you know of any mini LED solar powered lights I could put in the lanterns? Or any other ideas would be great. Links to where i can buy them would be great to, thanks :) x

Specifially, I want to make some mini flowers, trees, shrubs, (making a fairy garden. does anyone know of any tutorials online, making fairys without a mold.
Also looking for instrution on making the mini groto, palm trees, rustic baby fairy bed. And a tiny cat that can stand on all fours and look realistic, and owl, bird, bird bath, bird nest rosebush, maybe lilac bushes, orange trees, mini solar yard light, mini swing for a fairy.
Or beach , like sand, shells, water, grasses, starfish etc.
All of these I want to make with the clay accept some parts probably of trees or the grotto or some sea shells.
I did see a nice fairy garden online and it showed how to make the actual planter.
I saw miniatures made mostly for doll houses. I am looking for the outdoor stuff.
So I am hoping there is someone out there that knows of great sites or great books, or dvd’s.
Thank you.
